Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has dismissed talks linking him with a move to replace embattled Unai Emery at Premier League side Arsenal.

Unai Emery has been under serious pressure this season at the Emirates stadium and there are reports that Arsenal chiefs are tired of the team’s poor performance so far.

He takes his wards to Leicester City on Saturday, November 9, against the Foxes in which a defeat for the Gunners could end Unai Emery’s reign at the Emirates stadium.

And Brendan Rodgers who has been linked with the job at the Emirates stadium has rubbished the reports claiming that he is not leaving Leicester City.

“If you work well, it’s a natural consequence of what happens in this game – you’ll get linked to other jobs.

“People link me, at times, to top clubs – I’m already in a top job.

“This is a fantastic club, a great job for me and in this moment with the ownership we have, the players I have, I’m absolutely loving every minute of it.

“All the gossip and speculation, whether it’s for you or against you, is part of the game,” Rodgers told Sky Sports.

Earlier, had reported how Brendan Rodgers was tagged as favourite to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Manchester United manager, according to ex-Chelsea defender Jason Cundy.

The Red Devils have been struggling to hit top form this season and are currently tenth on the Premier League table from seven matches.
